Doug took down a 90-foot pine tree that had been struck by lightning very close to my house. Before he arrived, I was a bit nervous that taking the huge tree down could damage my house or nearby hedge in the process. However, once Doug started to work it was clear that he had everything under total control. He worked effortlessly from heights of 80+ feet, dropped the tree in a matter of hours, and landed everything perfectly in a very tight space. His price was also very reasonable, given his obvious level of expertise. As other clients have said, he truly is an “artist” at work, taking special care to get precise results even in difficult and dangerous situations.

Awesome Job! I would highly recommend him for any tree work. Very thoughtful, professional, and thorough. Handled a really difficult and dangerous job of fixing some storm damage in a giant silver maple. Made all the cuts very safely and roped them to the group from a good 3 or 4 stories high. Even cut a little firewood for me. I couldn’t be happier with the work.

Being a single mom on a limited budget Mr. Metcalfe quoted me a very reasonable price. He did exactly what he said he would and left me with no cleanup, my yard was better than when he came. The wood was stacked neatly and he told me it would be ready to burn next Winter. I would recommend him very highly.‎
