For trees that have developed weak areas such as “Y’s” and large, heavy leads where trimming off would be aesthetically unacceptable, adding support can enhance the safety of retaining these portions of the tree. Care must be taken to allow for growth and natural movement, such as wind loading. Improper implementation of these support systems can cause more harm than good.
However, you can rest assured in my ability to implement effective support systems for trees. During high-risk tree work, my life depends on the ropes and cables that hold me stories high in the air. If I entrust my own life to my support work on a regular basis, wouldn’t you entrust your tree’s? After all, I’m still here!
